How much does bin cleaning cost?
One bin is $25, two bins are $40, and each additional bin is $15. So three bins is $55 and four is $70.

Do you clean recycling bins as well as trash bins?
Yes — and they get exactly the same treatment, at the same price. Recycling bins are just as capable of turning into a problem; they simply get ignored for longer.

What’s actually included in a clean?
The interior walls, the floor, the lid and the outside of the bin are deep cleaned — not just a quick rinse of whatever you can see from the driveway. The bin is then deodorized.
All of that is included at every price. There is no basic-versus-premium clean and deodorizing is not an upsell.
Is there a subscription or a contract?
No. There is no subscription to sign, no minimum number of visits and no contract to get out of later. Book a clean when you want one.
Which areas do you cover?
Home base is Martin’s Chase in Ashburn. From there the covered towns are Ashburn, Ashburn Village, Brambleton, Broadlands, Lansdowne, Leesburg, Sterling, Dulles, South Riding, Stone Ridge, Aldie, Chantilly and Herndon.

What if I’m just outside the service area?
Ask anyway. That list is where Nick already works, not a hard boundary — if he can get to you, he will.
Can’t I just rinse it out with a hose?
You can, and plenty of people do. But rinsing a bin with a hose mostly moves the problem around — cleaning it properly removes it.
Spilled bags, drips and residue bake onto the walls and floor week after week, and a rinse does nothing at all about the smell. That is what the deodorizing step is for.

Nick Cox, the owner. Cox Bin Cleaning is owner-operated, so the number on this site reaches the person who cleans the bin — no call center, no phone tree, no franchise.

Is the estimate really free?
Yes, and there’s no obligation attached to it. You get the price up front, before anything happens. If you don’t want to go ahead, that’s the end of it — no pressure.
